Here are some acronyms that will be important to know while you are in high school:
ACT - American College Testing, but they go by ACT now
AICE -Advanced International Certificate of Education
AP - advanced placement
DCPS - Duval County Public Schools
EOC - End of Course
FLDOE - Florida Department of Education
FLVS - Florida Virtual School
GPA - Grade Point Average
GSV - Gold Seal Vocational (Bright Futures) Scholar Award
HOPE - Health Opportunies through Physical Education
IB - International Baccalaureate
PSAT - Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test
SAT - Scholastic Aptitude Test
