Also, Duval County Public Schools is sponsoring a Video PSA Contest with the theme “Break the Mental Health Stigma.” Videos must be produced by full-time DCPS elementary, middle or high school students with no more than five students per group. 2016 Reading Extravaganza
Celebrate literacy at Hemming Park on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. – noon
for the 2016 Reading Extravaganza! Students will be recognized for the efforts they made toward reading as well as pick-up their reading medals and have the opportunity to swap books. Local celebrities will be on-hand for story time sessions, where they select a book to read out loud to audiences. Additionally, there will be vendors, a food truck, entertainment and more! Reading certificates will be distributed to schools soon. |
