GIRLS ROCK STEAM

Pearls of Perfection, Inc. is hosting its annual Girls Rock S.T.E.A.M. Experience Summer Program on June 11th and June 12th at Keiser University for girls.  

DAY ONE:   girls will engage in multiple hands on activities including app development; coding; forensics; and much, much more.  

DAY TWO: they will have an opportunity to attend an exciting, fun filled trip to Wild Adventures Theme Park.  This year’s event promises to be two days worth of fun and excitement. 


Please note that space is limited and transportation will be provided from each site(selected middle schools, Mandarin Middle is included).  

Applications are due on June 3.  Transportation and other specific details regarding the camp can be found on the attached application.  The total cost is $30.

Skills for Success

Hope Haven Children’s Clinic and Family Center is looking forward to another great year of summer camps for local students!  

From June 16th – August 6th, we will be hosting our annual Skills for Success academic day camp for rising 6th through 9th grade students.  

Camp is held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and offers small group instruction in Math, Reading, Language, Science, Study Skills, and Computer Science.  

The rate is $150.00 per week. 

Should you have any students who you feel would benefit from this program, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to send additional details.

This is a great program.  I have worked at Hope Haven during the summers for about eight years, and I can attest to the fact that the students who attend this program learn much needed skills and are more prepared for school in the fall.

Robotics Camp

Frank H. Peterson’s Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Academy is kicking off an exciting hands-on Robotics Summer Camp for students entering 6th-8th grades. 

 During the week-long camp, students will design and create robots to do various tasks.  Teams of students will put their robots to the test against other teams in competitions.
